Nominations were made at the January Council meeting. Detailed information about the nominees is available for review in Council office prior to the February meeting.
4. Vote on resolution to add tenure lines in the Women’s Studies Program
5. Dr. William G. Bowen, former President of Princeton University, co-author of The Shape of the River: Long-Term Consequences of Considering Race in College and University Admissions, will discuss his research and respond to questions. Full text reviews and other related documents concerning Dr. Bowen’s book may be found on the web at http://www.lib.duke.edu/bowen. Anyone who has difficulty obtaining the reviews through the web and wishes to have a hard copy should contact Linda Lehman at Council office (684-6447).
Although seating is limited and priority will be given to Council members, faculty who are not members of the Council are invited to attend.
