Academic Council Scholarship

Duke University’s Academic Council Scholarship was established in 2013 by the Executive Committee of the Academic Council (ECAC). This award is presented by the faculty to an incoming freshman based on consideration of merit and financial need. The Academic Council Scholarship provides a monetary award for four years while the student is at Duke. The only other faculty-awarded scholarship is the Faculty Scholars award, which is given annually to a select few juniors who show a strong record of research and scholarship.

Duke’s Academic Council Scholarship Recipients are:

Tyne Kidd, 2022
Melissa White, 2017
Jake Grusd, 2013
